Setari by helicopter
Exploring the Okavango by Helicopter is a truly magical experience. We have a helicopter based at Kala Camp and helicopter scenic flights can be booked, for an additional cost, on arrival. For rates, please refer to the below.

In a nutshell:
Helicopter Scenic flights can be booked on arrival or pre-booked with your agent
The helicopter can take a maximum of 3 guests and all scenic flights are flown by experienced, qualified helicopter pilots organised by Helicopter Horizons.
For Scenic flights, the doors are removed to allow for superb photographic opportunities.

Doors off Scenic Flights
Price is per person with a minimum of 2 passengers:
Setari Camp & Kala Camp: 30 minute flight: US$325 / 45 minute flight: US$490 / 1 hour flight: US$640
*Doors off scenic flights can be used as transfers between Setari Camp and Kala Camp. Five minutes will be used for the ferry.

Notes:
All flights are private and based on a per person rate with a minimum of 2 passengers, we can carry up to 20kg soft luggage per person.
The Tsodilo Hills Expereince include entrance fees, private guide and a picnic lunch Conservation & Co-Existence Cultural Experience include entrance fees and a private guide.
Elephant Havens experience includes a donation.
Floodplains to Panhandle includes a palm island picnic experience mid-flight.
Guests are provided with headsets and pilot commentary of the area throughout the flight Helicopter types used are Robinson & Bell models.
For departures from Maun or Kasane airport add $10 per person (Government departure TAX) A 100% cancellation fee will be levied on any bookings cancelled 48hours before departure.
