Our camps are all situated within a private concession of 160 square kilometres of pristine watery wilderness. The concession enjoys prime position in the very heart of the Okavango offering guests a pure Delta experience, inhabited by a myriad of birdlife and wildlife unique to this exceptional ecosystem.
The area is a birder’s paradise, boasting a huge number of migrant birds, aquatic birds, raptors, a seasonal heronry and to top it all, the hauntingly beautiful Pel’s Fishing Owl. To add to this, the concession is also home to the rare and regal Sitatunga antelope as well as bushbuck, a resident leopard, hippo and baboons. To the south of the concession, where both Kala and Treehouse are situated, opens out to huge open floodplains which are flooding during the months of May through to October. During the dryer months, game drives and walks are offered in place of boating affording the guest the opportunity to see buffalo, lion, lechwe and the elusive cheetah.
Setari Camp accommodates up to 20 guests in 9 light, airy and spacious tents and 1 suite designed for families. To make the most of the views each enjoy spectacular private views over the Delta.
Kala Camp accommodates up to14 guests in 7 light, airy and spacious traditional tents. Each tent has its own verandah from which to enjoy the breath-taking views.
Treehouse is the ultimate in rustic luxury with jaw dropping views over the floodplains beyond, with only 3 suites it accommodates a maximum of 6 guests and is only sold on an exclusive basis.
